We know that improving the quality of teaching in the classroom has the biggest impact on student outcomes.
To do this, at a time when resources are being stretched, we need to improve the quality of our CPD.
‘Leading Learning‘ is founded upon the best evidence that has been gathered by globally renowned researchers and cohered in the excellent DfE Standard for Teachers’ Professional Development, with a particular emphasis on how professional development “should be underpinned by robust evidence and expertise”, with “expert challenge”.
Day one: Investigating the evidence base for great teaching, unpack the EEF Teaching and Learning Toolkit, interpret the latest research evidence for busy teachers, transforming evidence into practice with useful case studies
Day two: Translating evidence to have high impact in the classroom, explore essential topics such as metacognition and memory, support teachers with accessible approaches to evidence, receive a bank of tools and resources for evidence-based CPD
Day three: Sustain high impact practice through evidence-based CPD, action planning to run your own evidence-based CPD programme in school, gain tools for effective evaluation of practice, gain an insight into the effective dissemination of evidence
